how can i make new friends at school? (a seriously question)

Maybe it's strange for a blog topic, but as I haven't taken a good look at all the blogs here yet, I decided to write.

To put it into context, I'm not very good at socializing, in fact, I'm quite shy and introverted, so it's actually difficult for me to make friends. Not that I don't have friends, but they are all going to change schools (and so am I), so, consequently, to try to "survive" in that hostile environment, I have to make friends.
Talking a little about myself (if you want to make friends with me here :P), I'm Brazilian (I know this blog is in Portuguese, but I didn't find any Brazilian community), I'm 14 but almost 15, my birthday is on 02/10 and I love art (which is one of the ways I communicate).
Maybe I'll post some of my poems here, to show more to the community.
I think this is more of a rant, but whatever.
