Spacehey vs. other social media sites in 2021

MySpace:

Dead in the water. Nobody uses it. It's just a place to look through old photos and maybe bring back a few memories of friends you had added on there in middle school. No ability to customize your profile, and absolutely nobody to respond to your messages.

Facebook:

Highly active. A bit too much, in fact. All the normies and their normy grandmas are on it. However, all that we see posted on it these days is politics. Political memes, articles, videos, and rants with political arguments in the comments. Or maybe we'll see a non-political meme about something random, but 95% of them we've all seen already. Beyond that, maybe some groups on FB dedicated to specific topics are fun, but as a whole it's become a shitty site. It's no longer a place for people to post about their dinners, or vent about how their day was, or even post drama. It's mostly just political now, and that gets annoying. There's a time and place for politics, and 24/7 on a newsfeed isn't that time and place.

Twitter:

A place to follow celebrities, but not really all that good at anything else.

Parler:

When it gets back up and running, it'll just be a place full of toxic people saying toxic shit, plotting violence and complaining about politics.

Tumblr:

Erm, just a place for teenagers to complain about their interpretation of politics. It's basically Facebook for kids.

Spacehey:

A retro yet fresh take on social media. It allows for creativity, it doesn't advertise itself as a "free speech" site so toxic people will get banned, and it has a refreshing feel of people discussing themselves rather than just people discussing their opinions about politics.
