I just recently started a new school too... ive only been there 4 like...3 days but these are my tips
1-- find someone thats in at least 2 of ur classes nd stick with them. at my school we have core classes and u stay with the same ppl 4 the whole year, so ive just found a group to stick with. honestly..idk if ive even spoke to them, lol, I just follow them and listen.
2-- stay out of drama..just stay out. even if ur friends are apart of it. drama does nothing except ruin friendships, make enemies, and cause unnecessary stress. trust.
3-- study hard, do well in ur classes and dont be scared to answer questions. im a mega introvert, but pushing myself to answer in class has helped my learning a lot, plus my confidence has been boosted a lot.
4--dont cause trouble, dont try be cheeky to teachers/authoritarian positions. you just get a bad rep with teachers, which will make it harder in classes and when you need academic help.
basically, be a good person/student, try hard, be nice, and mind ur business
Try your best to meet other people if you want friends. Work on your confidence first, and don't burden yourself with thinking about what other people would say about you. This is the best advice I could give.
