Blue Bracelet

I am aware that there's some controversy over "blue friendship bracelets" and the idea that some women are wearing them as a substitute for actually giving a flying fuck.

Well, first off, i never have and never will vote for Tronald Dump. MAGA can get fucked. I voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012, Bernie in 2016, Biden in 2020 and Kamala in 2024. Understand something; i do NOT LIKE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY. I am a progressive and i do not believe democrats differ that much from republicans, but i voted that way bc holy hell i don't want this humiliating Nazi regime. I think MAGA is atrocious, traitorous and i firmly believe they are terrorists. They disgust me and their "Christian" followers are absolutely cracked out.

Second, i have ejected several "family" members and "friends" bc of this crap. I do stand up to them to the point where they have refused to interact with me on these subjects or have walked away altogether; no loss there. My father in law actually told me to "get r*ped" and threatened to kill me several times over these issues.

Third, i still carry safety pins, i named my iPad "Safety Pin" so if anyone was looking at a local bluetooth list they would see it and know that someone in the vicinity is safe..

which brings me to why i want to wear a blue bracelet. I don't want to show it off or virtue signal, i want you to KNOW that i am-as much as i can be and am currently educated enough to be- a safe person. I don't want people to see it and praise me, i want you to see it and know that if you're afraid, you needn't be. I want you to know that if you run up to me on the street and hug me, i will pretend to be your friend and have your back through whatever you're trying to get away from. I've done it before i'll do it again. THAT is why i want this.
