ONYX STORM

DID YOU GET THE TARGET SPECIAL EDITION OF ONYX STORM? I literally sat, staring at the screen, for 8 minutes prior to 3am. It was in my cart and ready to be checked out within 2 minutes but bc the site kept crashing- my payment wouldnt go through. I tried through apple pay, paypal, my actual card, etc;. It was so annoying-- I cried lol I gave up at 3:40. 


Come to find out- It seems to doesnt matter if I had gotten because a ton of people got emails telling them their order was cancelled and a bunch of people have also been getting emails telling them its on back order (so theyll probably have their order canceled) and I'm just.... I hate when companies manufacture scarcity. 

I also hate when privileged/lucky readers are greedy. If you have the special, sprayed edge edition of the first one- maybe save the target edition for those who didnt get the chance to get a special book the first go round. 

I dont know why I'm complaining bc come to find out- the art is 1) recycled, 2) uses AI and 3) ISNT EVEN ART SPECIFIC TO FOURTH WING! It was like the magazine cover of a fantasy magazine and they used AI to recolor it and remove poeple so it fit- but it wasnt drawn with fourth wing in mind. So, I'm going to create a tutorial on how to create your own book inserts. 

Ugh, just venting. It seems every book release that has anything to do with rebecca yarros is going to be shit. The first one was, the second one was, I dont know why I'm surprised this one was.
