OHHhheh MY GOAHDHd Rongo Swirl is such a cool character that should’ve been used more istg. He has a really interesting personality cause he acts kinda like a suave wannabe star,,,, he likes playing the drums too :0 speaking of the drumset lo me gusta mucho tbh It seems pretty accurate (at least according to my older brother) AND It has a swirl pattern cause. Y’know. He has a floaty cloud thing that it goes on and can carry himself too cause he’s just that stupid cool. His motive for taking over DJKJ’s club wasn’t bad, honestly, he just wanted to make people happy with his music. His method? Bad. Idiot. He’s best friends with Agent X/Injaneno and I think they’re the two ever and should make out/JJJJ OFC….HA. (NOT) Considering the order of battle and enemies in yokai watch he’s one of the stronger members of the Ghoulfamily. Ik his goofy self was devastated with the death of his best friend and boss/father…rest in piece Agent X and Ghoulfather you would’ve loved the Sonic Movie 3 probably......

He probably didn’t talk about it or even refused to acknowledge the looming sense of dread and emptiness that hung around the house for the first few months. It felt like a bad omen to even go through old boxes of Jāni’s stuff so he shoved it down and focused everything on his career⸺probably to an unhealthy extent. Days spent taking dinner to his room just to lie in bed or working on his sets more in some studio somewhere within the HQ. They all have their own stuff going on in one way or another after all. Slackerjack was the first to get through to him despite their differences.  He’s made to sit at the dinner table where the former hosted a. FAMILY Therapy/Talk Session™ He’s hard headed so they had to save the best for last ofc ofc,,,, Diverging a bit for a second, Hoaxy-Coaxy/Moso Monmon and Slackerjack/Yamerunja were practically Ghoulfather’s kids since they were created from his mind and dreams. No-Bot was made by Yopple inc. technically but still counts…too bad he Exploded. I imagine after Godfather and Jāni return they rebuild him!! Y'know y'know. I like to imagine what they would've been like with eachother just. casually for all those years. My friend Eris (S0meonenamedkay on tiktok;; some of you might know them!!) and I kinda talk about it sometimes or they show me these awesome faux twitter screenshots with fun interactings lol. Rongo and Slackerjack def had some kinda frenemi typa thingy. Love these morons.

Anyways so it gets around to him and he just feigns ignorance/indifference for a bit “What do I care they’re gone? It’s just a part of life. Why haven’t you moved on” and they’re reasonably like “wtf man that was our boss/dad/friend”/YOUR BOYFRIEND and he continues being obnoxious and tries to leave. He was getting up when Slackerjack decided to be sew nice and go ‘if it doesn’t affect you why has Injanano’s hat not moved from the empty chair in your studio since he died?' Needless to say he. Gets upset. He sits back down but is like 

“What else am I supposed to do with it, Slackerjack! He wouldn’t want it to get dirty even after he…”

“He died, Rongo. Ignoring it won’t help any of us. Much less yourself. We’re worried about you.”

He shuts up. ABOUT TIME DAMN;;;;; This might. MIGHT be a setup/line from an old ahh draft guwahaha I apologize maybe maybe not

Anyways he pulls Slackerjack aside and finally starts to talk and feels somewhat responsible for not doing more and being careless with taking the club. For him It’s been the same routine for weeks since they passed. I digress all the time but btw in my hc he's kinda the new pseudo-oldest ish since most of them just kinda. Don’t have ages due to yokai rules. but bc of what I said and Jani + Godfather being gone he takes the metaphorical pastry!! And still he’s being immature and ignoring anyone trying to talk about this like a dweeb (even thoeveryone has their own mourning process bht  YK). Back to the original topic. How pointless it is to feel upset over something he could’ve helped, anyways. He wouldn’t cry though. He didn’t when they announced the news, he wouldn’t now.

A. Anyways I think it’s neat how his design and name took inspiration from Ringo Starr!! He has a lot of interesting potential in his character I wish would’ve been used past his like one story thing. I haven’t played throughout the English version of ykw3 yet, but I vaguely remember him having a scene where he talked about Agent X in the Gogogo god tower or whatever it was called (This series and their goofy ass names yo 😭) and then ofc his main appearance. I think he’d like Nate and co. under different circumstances tbh, or Hailey, either or. AND. Hinozall. Omg I have so much potential mini drabble ideas with those two. Unlikely friends my beloved/// I like to think that by some miracle Godfather and Jāni survived and. Somehow made up with Hailey and Nate. Maybe they reached an agreement with the Blasters? They probs had to do yokai community service like McKraken and Deartime,,, but it’s funny so dwdw. Maybe since they have Sushi, Tempura, and Sukiyaki Ghoulfather has like Ramen or Takoyaki or an Elote stand somewhere idk man,,,
