School was canceled for me so I'm hanging out with my best friend. (yall should add her, she's really nice! -> maniaqueen69 )

Why is it so hard to cut off ties with people? I don't mean on my part tho, I find it easier to let go of people. I understand what it's like to be attached, but I shouldn't beg you to respect me wanting space. Then I get overwhelmed.

I do still care tho, I'm not heartless, I just don't want something with him anymore because he wasn't changing. And that brings me to another point, why do people change so late. There was a time I had no self-respect for this man, and all my efforts went unseen. But now that I've left, he cares so much? I will say, I fell for this once with the same person. Within a week, he reverted back to his old habits, so I obviously choose to respect myself this time.
