If you were to ask me what my favorite zombie game is, it would be Left 4 Dead 1 and 2.
The characters feel so real, the environmental story telling is awesome. I love when I get to the safehouse because I can just read poems, stories, the tally marks of kills a person had, etc. My favorite character has to be Zoey (Ellis is another favorite). She's just a simple college student who watched horror movies which is almost literally me. The gameplay feels endless, I could just play it forever it's so great. I grew up with L4D SFMs like White Lie (Favorite fan-made version of Zoey). On my old steam account, I had over 500 hours on L4D, I only have 46 on my new one. I love L4D so much I even made an OC set in the L4D universe :sob:
The soundtrack and campaigns are also just so good. I love the Hunter Special Infected, it's so cool. The soundtrack is iconic, the campaigns are replayable, and the Director AI is S-tier.
I just wanted to ramble about how L4D is the perfect zombie game, and I encourage people to play it. Bye bye!

i know im like really fucking late but I LOVE L4D SO MUCH. i use the Xbox 360 version because thats literally the only way i can play it BUT STILL. l4d is the type of game where you CANNOT get bored of it because of its truly random course of events and spawns for the infected.
