HELLO GUYS, GIRLS AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN!!!!!
for my first post let’s talk about the Japanese style: DECORA KEI
Decora Kei (デコラ) popped up in the mid-90s, straight out of Harajuku fashion. It became super popular thanks to Tomoe Shinoara, a Japanese idol, and her album Deco-rations. With her bold looks and "over-the-top" outfits, she set the trend!!!
<--Tomoe ShinoaraWhat is Decora Kei?
It’s all about layers and layers of clothes and a ton of accessories (hair clips, pearl necklaces, face stickers...) in bright, flashy colors!!!
These days, like many Harajuku styles from the late 90s-2000s, it’s become super underground in Japan.
<--Decora keiThe Substyles of Decora :
Decora isn’t just one look—it’s got some awesome variations:
★Dark Decora★
It’s like classic Decora
but with darker colors (black, red, white). You still get the cute
accessories and layered clothes, but with a more punk
or creepy vibe: skulls, punk t-shirts, horror
details (eyeballs, skeletons, bats)
★Decora Lolita★
A mix of Lolita styles
(Classic or Sweet) with loads of Decora accessories. The result? A
fun, cute, and super detailed look!
★Pink Decora★
The difference here is the
colors. Everything is pink—or almost! You can add small
touches of other colors, but pink takes the spotlight.
hope u liked it and learned smth new from this post!! see u soon!!
Which Decora style is your favorite?
