my favourite animals and why

deer

I love deer, as someone currently living in Denmark I get to go to parks where deer are living freely in parks that I can visit! It's amazing and I love to just observe them. My favourites are probably fawns, I know there are a lot of different types of deer and I don't know them all but I loooove fawns. They're so cute and I love when they are loafing like cats (yes fawns can loaf!:3)

cat

so original I know! you had this one coming lol I have had a cat obsession since I was born lol, cats are just the best. They're adorable and silly but also clever and loving. When I was a child I had a cat named Mistigris and she would always come see me when I was crying, she wasn't an especially cuddly cat (she was with my mom tho) but she'd let me cuddle with her whenever I was going through a tough time and even would stay in my bed for the night, often happened and she seemed to understand me better than most people, she passed when I was 13, I miss her

horse

yeah I was a horse kid... I was so passionate about horses, I had posters of horses all over my room because I was subscribed to a horse magazine. My whole life revolved around horses, I started horseback riding and I would play online horses games. I was also gifted, I could draw horses so well at the age of ten I painted a massive horse that was exposed at the mayor's office for a whole year! To this day my grand parents still have the very large painting on their garage door (yes it's the size as a garage door) and I often refuse to believe I actually painted that because it's so beautiful.. like wdym a ten years old version of me painted that???? I remember my classmates would line up to get a horse drawing from me :,,D

dog

another very original one, I love dogs!! all kinds, I mean I have favourites of course but dogs are so cute, although because I didn't get a dog before I was seven I was a bit scared of dogs. They were much bigger than cats (although the size of a pea next to a horse???) so I was a little mefiant towards them at first and then one of the only good childhood memories I have is me as a seven years old on the gigantic red carpet in our living room and this big old fluffy black dog licking my face so much I was giggling!! Unfortunately he was an old dog and passed two years after... It took my parents about eight years to get a new dog, and now I've got a very large muscly mix of staffie and something else? It's a shelter dog so we don't know but he's got the body of a staffie and the head of a cutie, he scares a lot of people because of his musculature but he's the sweetest most clingy lazy b4stard. I swear this dog is so dumb, I have a two years old brother (yeah don't ask me why my mom's crazy we have a 17 years age gap) and they're menaces together!!! I'm just glad my lil bro gets to grow with a big pup so he'll never be afraid of dogs and he gets to have a best friend!!!!!

owl

I have a love-hate relationship with owls because they symbolise something painful to me. I find them beautiful and underrated, they're such cute animals! They deserve more attention, I have never seen one in the wild but at places like zoos I always love to watch them, they're majestic and goofy! I feel like they're judging me all the time but deep down they're sweetie pies :3

kangaroo

one of my lifelong dreams is to visit Australia, my teddy bear is a kangaroo and I've had it since literally my birth. I can't wait to go to Australia one day but I have arachnophobia and cry at the sight of the smallest spider... I still ask my mom to kill them at the big age of 19. Anyways kangaroos are like the Australians racoons and they're so silly, I want to get in a fight with one just for fun lol

snake

I want a snake pet so bad! They're adorable, as a child I went to this camping and met a famous French actor and he had a snake, I got to carry the snake, I believe it was an albino burmese python and I wasn't scared, I actually melted because it was so sweet and actually very soft. I would love to get a snake but unfortunately I also love mice...

fox

I lived in London when I was sixteen and I once came back from a late night dinner and found a fox in my yard, I laughed so hard. The next day I was having a walk through the park and I saw another fox just walking around. Just like kangaroos they're the British racoons. I fucking love foxes, they're silly guys and they're beautiful. When I would go on walks in the forest fetching some mushrooms with my grandpa I would always laugh when seeing the fox poop.

pigeon

man I love pigeons, I feel they're so hated for NO REASON these guys deserve more love... They're just hungry little fuckers and they're very pretty I love that they come in all shapes and colours. I remember back in high school there was a messed up one who only had one leg and his feathers were all weird, looked like he had a scarf and me and my friend would always call him kevin(directioners will know), we'd see him around every day and feed him bits of our bread from lunch.

duck

I LOVE ducks, I live near a lake and go to see the ducks whenever I have free time. I looooove them and how they sleep with their beaks hidden beneath their feathers it's adorable *cries* I thinl they're wonderful animals and they're just nice to observe. If you eat ducks I hate you (respectfully).

bird (in general)

As you've noticed I like Aves, anything that has feathers and can fly. I don't like vultures though. I don't know much about them I just like to observe them, I've got some hedges in my garden and the birds always come looking for red berries in them, they're cute. I love the black ones who look like they're about to call me a slur. I also love seagulls and swans. I think I'll be the type of old person who spends their time on a park bench observing the birds and I'll probably have a blog just for birds.

squirrel

again like foxes they remind me of London, they're so funny and as a kid I adored Alvin and the Chipmunks and I know they're NOT squirrels but I always like to think squirrels -- like chipmunks -- have a secret pop star life. I once took a picture of a squirrel on a tree from super close like he wouldn't move, at first I thought he was dead or sum but he had some kind of cereal in his mouth I swear that guy was hilarious and then I looked away for one second and he was running off!! Lil man probably thought I was gonna steal his food lol

racoon

last but not least I don't really know what to say I've never seen a racoon, I just think they're icons and I love them dearly. I think I'm the type of person who'd see a sewer rat and I'd say 'it has potential, lemme give it a bath and I'll use some strong essential oils to get the stink off I'll knit him a sweater' and well racoons are the city's rats right, so I would love to knit a racoon a sweater because poor pookies have to steal food cuz they're homeless... Let's normalise having pet racoons. These guys are meant to watch TV with a bag of crisps.
