Vet

Having cockatiels is nice and stuff until one of them gets sick.

One of my cockatiels got sick, so I had to find a vet. But not just any kind of vet, an avian vet.

No avian vets are near by. But I do live near a big city (Frankfurt), so a 20 min train ride would get me to the main station of that city.

So I found a vet there.

But it was -1°C, shit. And also my poor cockatiel had to be in her carrier the whole train ride. She was prolly so scared. I mean yeah DB is scary even as a normal person, but can't imagine her thoughts.

And then, even worse, the underground. It was like 2 stations, but still, Frankfurt undergrounds are disgusting.

So after 1 1/2h travel we made it to the vet. She got medicine into her crop and then the whole way back home.

2 days later the same thing again for her second appointment.

Yeah, my girl has seen some shit now.
