What if my research is done ON social media? By cross referencing between several posts and then continuing by reading comments and discussions and then finally coming up with a conclusion of my own based on the number of things I've read.?
That's how I do it anyway. And then I would be flexible in my belief if some other conflicting evidence pops up. Oh but how much of a punch to the ego it is to be proven wrong on your belief.
I'm a bit confused on what the last part of your comment means but,
in reference to the first half I also don't think that's the best way to get your info,
because comments are usually people's own personal opinion and with videos from random people it's very easy to get things wrong and to manipulate the information. But, that's just my opinion.
