I live down the street from New Mexico, so of course I visited here a lot, but not enough. I still need to see Santa Fe, Roswell, and Las Cruces Proper. Here are the cities I've been to so far:
Alamogordo
We've stopped here on our way back from Ruidoso. It's a pistachio farm and it has the world's largest pistachio. I do still want to visit the city itself.
Albuquerque
We didn't do much except go to the botanical gardens. I would love to go to the hot air balloon festival that they have in October
Las Cruces
Even though I live an hour from here, I still haven't explored the city. The only thing I did here was go to the Mesilla Valley Pumpkin Patch
Ruidoso
It's a nice little resort town. I went to Ruidoso during the summer and winter. I personally prefer the winter because of the snow tubing that they have. Needs at least a weekend stay to get a great experience or go there early because everything closes early.
