Back from a Long Walk

Hi! I'm Ann, and I created an account in November last year, and I haven't really logged on since then. I'd come back once a week to check notifications, but the thought of talking to someone or participating on this site again made me log off again. Which is quite funny considering I joined this site specifically to make friends and talk to people other than myself. 

I have pretty severe anxiety that has caused me to isolate myself from others. I haven't had a friend in a year and a half, and I spend most of my time walled up in my dorm room by myself, ruminating over my life or the day that I had just wasted. I'm attempting to break this habit by becoming more active here and hopefully reaching out to other people, not just waiting for others to reach out to me. 

I don't want to sound like a Debby Downer though. I will focus on the positives of my life and the world around me. I am interested in music, arts, and oddities, and love a good rabbit hole to go down or conspiracy to lose my mind in.

Even if no one reads this or responds to it, I am publicly making a promise to myself to update this blog at least once a week. I think shouting into a void is better than what I've been doing for the past year.
