by profile pics do you mean your profile picture? I can see it as a pink haired girl with a bandaid on her head. When you change your pfp, it also takes a couple of seconds for the new one to load-in.
If you mean putting a picture in your profile---like a stamp or a blinkie, you might be putting the code in wrong. Make sure it looks like this:
