Some people might remember this game from the notorious creepypasta. It’s a LOT different from what it used to be, and I think it’s also a more complete experience now. I also never seem to find any videos about the new version? This game kinda creeped me out 2-4 years ago (forgot when), probably from this slight feeling of isolation and disorientation I got while playing it. There’s something honestly beautiful about its graphics, the fuzzy camera filter, the monochrome red, the darkness, the silence.
Play if you like horror games, or creepypastas, or the color red.

This is a pretty strange one, and worth checking out if you like gothic style and religious symbolism. The wiki for this game says it’s full of unique codes and invisible teleports, but I haven’t been able to find any of those besides the only obvious one. Maybe someone smarter than me will have a better time with this. But even regardless, I think it can be appreciated as a piece of art. The building in “Requiem” is gorgeous.

I was honestly blown away by this one and I can’t recommend it enough!! It’s a singleplayer surrealist exploration/adventure game inspired by Yume Nikki and similar games where you play as a dead philosopher wandering through fragments of the afterlife. There’s just so much to see here, and I’ve only played like 20% of it so far. The maps are beautiful while having that classic Roblox charm, the music is peaceful and amplifies the atmosphere, and the game’s rich with lore the deeper you go.
For some reason when I started playing it, I was reminded of Night On The Galactic Railroad, a 1985 film that has a special place in my heart. Maybe because they have a similar calm/mysterious aura and premise about exploring fragments of a mystical realm?
Might be an exaggeration but to me this isn’t just a hidden gem, it’s a hidden painite.

This game’s based on Madness Combat (madness girlies hmu), but I think it’s far-removed enough to work as a standalone. It’s also heavily based on Ultrakill, which is probably all you need to know about what the gameplay is generally like. REALLY DIFFICULT but super cool! And has some cool lore and breakbeat music.
Unfortunately the game’s private now, probably for an update. Idk how long it’s been private or when it’s gonna come back. Check on it once in a while if you’re interested in playing, maybe let me know when it’s back.

This is a simple and cool top-down party arcade shooter, great to play with friends. It’s kinda sad that this doesn’t even show up on the search engine despite how decent and fun it is and how much love probably went into it.

This is a game you absolutely must play! It’s a short 2D sidescrolling adventure game made in 2014 by the same guy who made Lethal Company and It Steals. It’s a really unique work of art that excels in its visuals, soundtrack and immersivity, and I think it really showcases the unlimited potential for creativity in Roblox games.

Another one of my old favorites. It’s a fighting game based on Touhou, but you don’t have to know a lot about Touhou to play it and have fun. There’s lots of characters to choose from with different cool powers, and all of them are fun to try out. There’s not many people joining it now but when they do it’s fun and chaotic. In a way I kinda like that the servers are small.

I had fun writing this one. I'll try to post weekly. Let me know in the comments what you thought about any of these games if you choose to play them and feel free to recommend any other games you think I should check out!
