I first visited the state in 2019. Here are the cities I've been to so far:
Anaheim
My trip to Anaheim was to Disneyland for the first time. I enjoyed it and I'm glad I got to experience it
Fresno
Didn't do too much exploring in Fresno except to a mall and Trader Joe's for the first time. I do want to go to the underground garden someday.
Hanford/Lemoore
There's not that much to do in these two cities tbh.
Los Angeles
LA was the first Californian city I visited. It was kinda a mixed bag. I went to Venice Beach, Universal Studios, Celebrity Cemetery, farmer's market and had a great time. However, the Hollywood part is definitely glorified on TV.
San Diego
San Diego is so aesthetically pleasing. The waters are so clean and pristine. I went several times, but I didn't get to experience a lot there yet. It's definitely one of my favorite cities in California
San Francisco
I've been to SF twice. The first time was pre-COVID. I went to Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, and was going crazy around the city because of the Pokemon GO Fest they had. The next time was during COVID. We couldn't really do much except be at the hotel and walk around some of the DT area.
Visalia
So it's like in between Hanford/Lemoore and Fresno with things to do.
