so tiktok got banned today. as y'all know.

i'm of the opinion that trump is probably gonna unban it to curry public favor (with young people). 

i mean tiktok is really kissing his ass considering the message when you enter the app says "we are fortunate that president trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate tiktok once he takes office. please stay tuned!"

if that's not ass kissing idk what it is

i mean i'm glad tiktok will likely come back. i guess.

but i hope if it does people realize that that doesn't mean trump is good lol

i'm more upset about CAPCUT BEING GONE!! capcut my beloved

i mean alight motion is objectively better but it's more confusing

also capcut has auto captions which are my baby. even though i have to edit them a lot. it's easier than doing them from scratch. i <3 auto captions.

i'll probably still post on xiaohongshu/red note if tiktok does come back. it's kinda cool to interact with people from another country. especially because china gets villainized a lot and they just live in a very different place. not to say that china is the greatest. it's just cool to see another perspective

i've basically just been posting old homestuck YouTube videos with English and Chinese subtitles on there. i'll definitely continue doing that 'cause it's fun and the people of China deserve to be homestuck brainrottted. apparently Sassy Gay Eridan transcends national boundaries. lol.
