Why do bands never come here?

Every time one of my favorite bands announces a tour, i have to cross my fingers and hope really really hard that they even come to saint louis. We're a decently sized city, and pretty much smack dab in the middle of the midwest, so it's not a bad idea. 

Don't get me wrong, bands will occasionally come here. Ghost regularly comes here on their american tours. It just strikes me as odd that we aren't always on the lineup of cities.
