at long last

I feel like I've fought a long, bloody war. I have trampled through snow and splattered dragon blood. I have gnashed my teeth and wept ragefully. My hands clenched as I charged at the beast. My heart has been racing, tearing, aching, and anticipating for this day for all these years.... and, at long last.... at long, long last, the beast has finally been slain. Banished. Exiled. Gone forever.  Reduced back into ash, as he was born. The terror will reign no more. Humanity is saved. A tear goes down my face, covered in the beasts blood, as I feel in my soul that the curse has been lifted, finally, and the world shall be burdened no more.

don't call me dramatic I've ranted about how tiktok has ruined youth with my teeth gritting and my veins pumping for the past 3 years I'm celebrating and I'm gleeful. Golly forbid a fella be gleeful.
