arcade trip

Today I met with my friend at the arcade. We played a bunch of rhythm games. I ended up playing a lot more jubeat than I usually do. The arcade updated their jubeat cab to a newer version earlier this week, so that kinda enticed me to play it. I also played some Wacca, Chunithm, Stepmaniax, Sound Voltex, and Project Diva. As a seasoned rhythm gamer, Project Diva's really hard!! I haven't played it much, so I haven't mastered the layout. I can get by with single-button notes but I kinda have to guess when there's more than one button.

The Wacca cab was supposed to update to a new version as well, but it wasn't updated when I arrived. I actually figured out how to get it to update in the background so that people could still play. After I'd already left, another player alerted me when the update was complete! I was a little disappointed that it wasn't updated from the start, but I look forward to playing it when I go next.

After that, my friend and I got pizza. He left and then I stayed at the arcade for a little longer. Then I went home.

I guess the cherry on top is that, as of a few minutes ago, I have a free shirt from the arcade awaiting me as a result of my efforts.

Today was a good day, to say the least.
