Desktop pets

I made desktop pets of my paras with Shimeji! I'd say they took me a total of 3-4 hours of actual work, but I procrastinated on the left one quite a bit. Here's the showcase blog post!

Learning Spanish

I've been a no sabo/no sé kid for my whole life as of writing this. The only Spanish I know is a collection of beginner phrases, beginner words like leche and casa, and the present tense.

These past couple of days though, I've been trying to get a lot more Spanish input in through music, TV, videos, and conversations the people in my life (that are fluent) have. During past attempts of learning Spanish, I thought learning through acquisition was the holy grail of language learning, but I think (for me, at least) that output is very important, too.

With the input I've been getting, I've been trying to form sentences in my head, whether that be about my routine, my surroundings, or things I've just said in English. Many people online say that translating in context that's familiar to your life makes you remember it easier, so I'm going to stick to that.

If any of you guys have advice to learning a language, specifically Spanish as a second language, advice would be very much appreciated! :-)
