I’m really interested in reading Lolita. I’ve seen reviews and I would say that I’ve heard good things about it but saying that about a novel that is in the perspective of a person who has pedophilic thoughts and actions towards a young girl less than 13 years old would be weird. People have thought of this book as really graphic and disturbing and also very disgusting. Since I haven’t read it I can’t comment on that, but what I can comment on is the covers that sexualize Dolores as her being promiscuous which from doing research is not what the author wanted. Now the cover with the broken lollipop is the most accurate to me, the broken lollipop represents Dolores innocence being stolen from her by Humbert. The other covers yet visually appealing is very disrespectful because it simply went against what the author wanted. Thoughts on this?

Wht does evryone think about about classical novels especially the sexualization of lolita
