YOU WILL BE OKAY WITH OUT TIKTOK TRUST ME!!
Please do not throw a fit or anything I understand your losing tiktok and that's big but think about it ya"ll it's just a social media app why are we making such a big fuss about an app, but I get it for buisness owners that is understandable but for the rest who don't rely on tiktok as a career
you'll be fine trust me take it from a girlie eith strict parents not being allowed on major social media sites like Insta, Snapchat tiktok, only allowed on YouTube, I'm unaffected but I still have hobbies outside of youtube like rrading manga, drawing and especially watching TV and not on my phone
And this is for people going on rednote please for the love of God DO NOT BE TOXIC OR CANCEL CHINESE PEOPLE!!! And try and have fun with it heck maybe learn chinese
(I'm alrrady studying Chinese been doing it since 8th grade before the tiktok ban and is decent at it i can go on the app and maybe understand a thing or to potentially)
like ya"ll didn't even know the app exicysed before this even happened!
so take this as a sign to go outside and cut back on our addiction to social media
Again If you are planning on going on rednote please be aware it's controlled by the CHINESE GOVERNMENT, and you can't say anything negative about it or mention or criticize the president or else YOU WILL GET BANNED!

for me at least, im not really upset by losing the app itself, its more about the fact that our government is taking it away to try and control what we see; i feel like the rise of political content like videos from gaza and the amount of protesting and organizing that the app showed is the true reason why they're taking it away.
if they were really concerned about privacy like they say they are they would've banned facebook or temu but :/ it's just a cover for them be able to control our content
Yeah u have a point with Facebook they are definitely taking our rights away as a black girlire I'm used to it at this point unfortunately
