Reverend Bizarre - II: Crush the Insects

I'll share one of the best DOOM METAL records ever made, II: Crush the Insects by Reverend Bizarre.

For those who don't know, Reverend Bizarre are a really important band of the Doom scene, they basically reinvented the genre back in 2002 with their amazing debut "In the Rectory Of" and perfectionated their sound with the follow up.

Their sound is a sort of weird blend of traditional Doom Metal, a truly Sabbath worship kind of sound, the heaviness and slowness of 90s Doom and the Epic feeling of Candlemass and Solitude Aeturnus.

The result is an heavy, manacing but also epic and adventorous kind of music, you'll lose yourself in a sort of ancient and medieval time.

The opener alone, DOOM OVER THE WORLD, is one of the anthems of the whole genre... and it's from 2005! Remember, Doom started in late 60s... I'll surely share some Proto-Doom Metal, sooner or later.

Best tracks: Doom Over the World, The Devil Rides Out, Cromwell and Eternal Forest.

It's recommended a full listen, but yeah i tried to pick some favourites.
