The process of the human bodys decomposition after death

Stage one: Autolysis (Or, self-digestion).

This stage begins almost immedietly after death. As soon as the blood circulation and respiration (The action of the lungs, ex, breathing) stop, the body will have no way to get oxogyn and remove wastes, The extra carbon-dioxide is the cause of an acidic enviorment that causes membranes (a thin layer of cells that can be on, ex, an organ) to rupture. The membranes release enzymes (proteins produced by cells) that start eating the cells insid-out.

Rigor mortis causes the body to tense up, and small blisters filled with fluids begin to form on both internal organs and the skins surface. The body will apear sheen due to the blisters rupturing and the skin will begin to loosen.

Stage two: Bloating

This stage consiste of the leaked enzymes producing gases. The human body can double in size, apearing bloated. The compounds containing sulfur that bacteria release can cause the discoloration of the skin and insact activity may be present. The body may begin to produce extremely unpleasant odors that are called putrefaction. The odors often linger after the body has been disposed of or moved.

Stage three: Active decay

Fluids that are released through orfices (an opening or arupture(dude idk) start the decaying. Body parts start becoming liquified, such as organs, muscles and skin. When the body parts tissues decompose , the hair, bones, cartilage and other byproducts of decay remain. The cadavar (corpse) loses the most mass in this stage compared to other stages.

Stage four: Skeletonization.

Considering the skeletons decomposition rate is based entirely on the loss of bodys and inorganic components, there is not an exact timeframe of skeletonization.

Idk i just neede to remember this and thought others might be interested, I'll add more later.
