i used the sony alpha a6000 for these, but it's pretty pricey and my richer uncle got it for my 18th on ebay. digicams totally spread out in price, but most are going to be around $40-50 with shipping. though you can get some steals online. i'm not gonna lie to you, i do not know much about the inner workings/mechanics of the camera, i point and click at the pretty place till it feels right. and i still see a lot i can do better. but i've learned that a decent zoom, resolution, and stabilization are good for quick snaps.
