Summer Holidays

Its January, and for Australian students that means its the middle of Summer holidays. 

I've done a bit since these holidays started. Its just that this weeks been bland that's all (and very very rainy). I made plans with three people and all three didn't work out, but its okay! there's always rescheduling and on the bright side a little time to myself doesn't hurt. 

With that I've had a lot of time to think about myself and how I feel about starting my senior years. School's going to be a complex place once we all return. There's a few "friends" I don't wish to see and some I'm looking forward to being with again. outside of peers though - this grade is sounding a little bit too serious (ᵕ—ᴗ—) teachers don't help either when it comes to how they describe said Grade i'm going into..."Grade __ is one of your most serious years!" "ALL OF THIS WORK GOES TOWARDS __!!" "You will start assessment A B and C within the first few weeks blablabla". kind of makes me wonder if I'm even going to have time to myself. At times like this I wish I had an older sibling or a senior friend to ask questions to, I have a cousin in her 20s but I fear she is too cool for me. 

Aside from School, when it comes to myself generally I've actually been feeling quite confident in myself recently! I think this is the most confident i've been in a while, Highschool's really taken it away from me. I have a feeling that its because schools out but regardless I just hope this feeling stays - its really sweet. 

I've been spending alot of time with my family and its been really fun! My mum and I have gotten closer which ill forever appreciate. I spent time in Newcastle we were going out every day, I always love being away from home - being in new places always gets me in a good mood. Ill do a photo dump soon!
