"boy, girl" -- part two
i'd like it if you made my lips sore
suckled on skin, flushed red, rose
i wouldnt mind if you pulled my hair
breathe against my pulse, warm air
but youre nothing more than a picture
a moving scene, it hurts
made up of ink and lines
within your black and white eyes
my heart lies
and when i draw you
so sweet, pure, too
youre the only one who gets me
yet your structure is paper, not meat
your muscles are hidden under lines
your hair is fine, drawn streaks of mine
floating on a page
from me, innate
you, i create
ill take you somewhere nice
roses, picnic tables, wine
ill draw a scene
you holding a glass, serene
with a peaceful grin
forever trapped in this scene youre in
if only i had the real thing
(no, these poems are not exactly personal. its pure storytelling ^^)
