I wanted 2 write another blog since i rlly enjoyed writing my new year blog! it feels very...therapeutic idk, even though literally no one saw my last blog LOL
I figured i could talk about my experience and ask you about YOUR experiences with sumthing im rlly fond of...old instant messaging services!
Its very obvious that IM services have changed a lot as time passed, 4 better or 4 worse. I dont dislike newer IM apps like Discord and stuff, its just...sumtimes u wanna use cool smileys and ringtones yu know??
Ill never forget when i used to sit on the windows vista family computer 4 the entire day just messing with all the programs i could find like MS paint, Purble Place, Mahjong Titans, Windows movie maker...sumtimes i would end up clicking on Windows live Messenger and wondering what the hell it was while accidentally sending random messages to my aunt's coworkers (im srry aunt ^_^)
although i never used it 4 much more than looking at the cool smileys and buzzing ppl i didnt know...looking back on it, WLM was just rlly awesum in general with so much customization and features!!!

However, the IM app i remember using the most was DEFINITELY Skype. After i moved away from my hometown, i would always call my cousin on skype and talk to her for hours and teaching her how to put mods into the Sims, good times indeed LOL (wish there was an old skype revival...)
Later during middle school i started using teamspeak to play minecraft with my frends after school. I recall we were extremely stupid with it as we barely knew how to use teamspeak, the only reason we used it was because my laptop wasnt able to run skype anymore cuz of how old and slow it was o_O
If yu see this, tell me what YOU used to talk to your friends!! what was the first IM app you used ??
