VERY open ended, I know.
How on earth do any of you deal with the stress??? I'm only in 15 credit units this semester and it's only 2 weeks in, barely started and I always feel like I'm behind even when I'm on track. Does that ever go away? I'm barely eating, got a cold coming on from stress, and nobody else around me seems to be dealing with the same thing? And I don't just mean "oh everyone around me seems less stressed out but theyre also only doing 2 classes" I mean everyone around me has a similar class schedule & major PLUS work, family, kids, friends.... Is this just a skill issue??? Am I just lazy and too chronically online? I don't waste my time, usually, I don't spend every waking moment working though, and usually I'm too tired to do anything fun except for scrolling social media.
To be more fair to myself, I guess, I'm also chronically ill (Fibro+Chronic Fatigue), trans, and dealing with a messy home situation that requires me to hide my identity from my family. But at the same time? I'm not the only person with a bad home life, and nobody else seems as stressed as me. Maybe I'm just not looking at them that closely??? I really am at a loss.

hello! answering your question (it's subjective, it's from my experience)
I am a person who suffers a lot from stress (I demand a lot from myself) so I am always in constant stress with whatever I do, even if it is simple or difficult things. I'm in college, so I overexert myself. What I do, is try to take some time, try to get out of the zone where the stress is generated, sometimes I have thought the same thing.
But, I believe that all stress, regardless of the circumstances, is valid, even if we do not see it, some people have stress indirectly. In your case, I can say that it is not that you are lazy, many times it is because of the weight/burden that one has over the years, try not to focus on other people and do not invalidate your mental health with the βI am not the only oneβ. Many of us have different ways of dealing with stress. And, no, you are not lost, every organism and person reacts differently.
I hope this has been of some help.
sorry for my bad grammar, I don't speak much English.π»
Your grammar in English is better than mine, and it's my only language, don't worry!
Thank you for the kind words, you're very wise!
