Think of the Doctor. Think of everything he's done over the years. Think of the materials and budget it must've taken to pull those things off.
How does he do it? How does he have such a seemingly limitless amount of resources at his disposal?
And most importantly...
Why doesn't he use it for something greater?
Think of all the everyday issues that permeate Earth.
World hunger. Disease. Human-on-human warfare.
The Doctor could likely find the cure to cancer with a snap of his fingers, but he refuses to.
Rather, he spends his existence in pursuit of world domination, so that he can establish a theme parkΒ of all things.
A theme park?
What a joke.
If acceptance and admiration are truly what he seeks, he should contribute to the goals that humanity seeks to reach. Not distance them further from those goals.
The more I think about it, the angrier I get. This one-sided discussion has given me much insight, and a brand new perspective on what kind of man the Doctor truly is.
The next time I get my hands on that egg-shaped homunculus - and mark my words, it will be soon - I will give him a piece of my mind. I'll be sure to bring Omega, too; I'll bet he has several .50-caliber cartridges with Ivo's name written on them.

Doctor Eggman is truly the most despicable man of our time.
