RedNote

As somebody who uses TikTok pretty regularly, hearing about the ban kinda bummed me out for a while, especially considering the reasons or motivations behind it... 

Then I realized that for once I might actually have time for other things! 

... Then I heard about RedNote (Xiaohongshu)... 

When I tell you I'm OBSESSED with that app, it's worse than my TikTok addiction LMAO! It's so fun with all the memes and seeing everyone be so chill with each other. And it was so nice that Americans were so welcomed there, and that many are willing to learn each other's languages! 

I'm gonna try to learn some Mandarin Chinese words and characters to have some basic communication on there, and I've already made a list of some slang. But I think I'm mostly going to have to rely on translators lol. 

If you're like me and just started using RedNote, please just be respectful on the app! Follow the guidelines, respect the culture, and maybe use translations for your posts and/or comments. 

Oh, and pay your cat tax!!
