Specs of my new pc!!!!

HEY GUYS  SORRY FOR LIKE DISAPPEARING FOR MONTHS... my old computer's hard drive started to give out on me and so i had to rush to get everything off of it that I cared about (stuff stretching back from 2014 when I built my first computer) and i had to research building my own computer as well since my dad said i was not allowed to buy my own since i'm smart enough to do it myself apparently...!!!!

anyway i got a lot of questions about what hardware i got and why i chose it and so as promised here is the blog!!!

my parents basically bought this for me as a birthday present, and they also said since i got a scholarship it also paid for itself!!!! i am really grateful to them and very grateful that i am able to just Get A New PC....  because Why Not...!!

this is technically my third built pc. the first one I built when I was 8 with the help of my dad, and then I built my second one at age 12 also with my dad's help, but less of it. this one he didn't pick out any of the parts at all, and he only put the graphics card in  (since you need a lot of force) and helped me plug some stuff in. shout out to my dad!!!!

Listed here is all the hardware and some software and why I chose it!

❄️ NAME: Q5U4EX7YY2E9N (Queen)

soooo this is Queen's serial number!!!!! she tells it to Susie and Kris at the beginning of Chapter 2. Susie is like "I'm not calling you that" but she ends up saying Queen anyway haha anyway this is just the internal name of the computer.

❄️ OS: Windows 11

I was gonna go with Linux Mint originally but apparently we have access to all the Microsoft Office apps, and a lot of the software for the hardware I bought wasn't gonna work on Linux. I will definitely dual boot though I will just do it later! also  i miss old ms paint

❄️ CASE: NZXT H6 Flow RGB ATX Mid Tower Case

originally I had a simpler Corsair case picked out (white of course) BUT i HATED the grill design so much I just went and found something else LOL this one came with built in fans as well it's really neat, and a place to put your PSU :3 it also has a fish tank design where two of the corners meeting are glass so you can see inside really well. It's a big case, I have a lot of room to cram stuff into it (like figurines.,??????)

❄️ CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (6-Core)

my dad loves AMD and my sibling has a 6-core processor already so I figured this was good for my needs. It's a cute little thing but super heavy and dense lol

❄️ MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte X870 AORUS ELITE ICE ATX AM5 Motherboard

i picked this motherboard bc it was mostly white but looking back I wish i had picked something else... the software for it is really subpar in my opinion. but it looks beautiful and the built in wifi will be useful in case I can't use ethernet for some reason!

❄️ STORAGE: Western Digital WD_BLACK 1TB SN770 NVMe Internal Gaming SSD

originally I had a two terabyte samsung ssd picked out but my old pc had a 500 MB one and I had no IDEA.. i hadn't filled that one up very much at all. this one is prettyyy big and it was cheaper than the samsung. thank u dad

this ram is SUPER pretty, it glows rainbow very smoothly, and it's white. the extra 16 gb is also an upgrade for me!

❄️ CPU COOLER: NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB 78.02 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

this is my absolute favourite part of the new build. it has a little screen on it so i can put any gif or photo that i feel like and it's super quiet, and it's white, it tells me the temp of the CPU, it 's AMAZING.. i think liquid coolers look INCREDIBLE and i'm just obsessed with it. and it came in a deal package with the case!

i had a different graphics card picked out but my dad found one that was more my speed.. the one i originally had was really powerful, and i only picked it bc it was white and my sibling had it in black. this one works AMAZING, and it's so pretty! shout out to my dad he helped so m uch

i got this bc it wasn't expensive and it was fully modular. also, it was white. amazing

❄️ MONITOR: Pixio PX279 Wave White 27 inch 1080p Resolution Monitor 

i got this bc it was bigger and had a higher refresh rate than my older monitor, also, pretty stand and it was white LOL

❄️ KEYBOARD: IROK FE87/104 RGB Mechanical Keyboard 

this keyboard has rgb lights, red switches, is hot swappable, and WHITE and it's so prettyyy my only complaint is that it's more off white than white but you can't tell when it's dark. also the software is kinda sus :/

❄️ MOUSE: Razer DeathAdder Essential Gaming Mouse

my sibling has this mouse but in black and i liked it. it's a little big for my hand though and the rgb isn't what i thought it would be, but that's okay!
