Hello I go by Gnarly, this is my first blog on here, I used to work in forensics going out on crime scenes and collecting evidence and bagging as well as toe tagging the deceased of all shapes and sizes, as well as different stages after death. If you have any questions for me I'm more than happy to answer all of them! (please be appropriate)

how did you get into that job? what are the qualifications? did it affect your mental health
Honestly it was just luck, I had a friend who was working there and he got me the job, its like a student program to help people in Uni get experience but anyone could apply for that job if they wanted as long as they have a clean record and a HS diploma. The job did not affect me mentally at all but that's just me, it affects everyone differently especially because were literally grabbing rotting corpses with nothing but scrubs and gloves on.

Hiii. Do you think your job has make you more desensitized?
I think so, I can't look at horror movies the same, the gore is just not realistic. I thought my job would help me not be as sensitive to smells but that is not the case at all, the smell of a rotting corpse is the worst thing you could ever smell and they are very common.
