The Last Of Us Part I - Review

9/10

(If you played the previous version, in my opinion it's not worth buying.)

As we progress, we find out that Ellie and Joel both have the trauma of losing someone they love. When we meet Ellie, she is an innocent girl, but due to the things, she loses her innocence. After Joel loses his daughter at the beginning, he becomes emotionless and seals himself behind "walls", but as the story progresses, Ellie breaks those walls, and they get attached to each other. The pacing of the game is very good; it takes its time and doesn't rush anything. Every character we meet has a meaning; some of them act as reflections of the main characters and what they could become, and some of them act as sort of "catalyzers", they push the story forward. Thanks to that, not only do we find out more about the main characters, but they also find out a lot about themselves. The ending is controversial and leaves you thinking about it for a long time.

Got me crying like 5 times.
