Eternal Battle - poem

Rises Warrior the Golden Sunrise

Behold the glory of the dawn

The noble sycamore of size

Unto the dew kissed bed of the fawn

Towering cloud of cotton column

Springtime rain to baptize the green

Until the violet night so solemn

The powers seen and unseen

Behold the sustaining springs

Where the waters bubble cool and free

Shimmering sands and ripple sings

Nature's temple the humblest see

Dark sacred peaceful night

Owls and Crickets croon

All Weary rest in their plight

Neath the ancient watcher moon

Bows the willow in mournful worship

Unto the reflection on the pool dark

The pilgrim creatures come to sip

From the giver dank and stark

Til streaked the sky with brighten blood

The sun hath slain the moon and star

Until night again shall bring the brood

Resurrected darkness again are

Who now is the hunted?

Who now is the victorious one ?

Who now is the stunted ?

Immortal night or Fleeting Sun?
