I am very passionate about physical media and i love talking to others who are too. I've been collecting my whole life, several different things. dvds, vhs tapes (i have a vcr as well), vinyl, old tech, and old video games. My game collection isnt huge because it is all so expensive but I wish i had more!!
My dvd collection is the biggest one i have because movies are my #1 thing i enjoy. i have a lot of good ones like i have the home movies boxset, dead and breakfast, and that garbage pail kids movie lol. i also have braindead which is my favorite movie ever
what kinds of things to you collect? and what are some of your most prized possessions? Mine are my 28 days later dvd, my camcorder (panasonic ag-186) ((i want a better one soon)), and my tool vinyl (opiate).

I love Physcial Media.Currently I have a DVD player that i got from a thrift store but now im starting to collection more books and hopefully when i have bigger space start collecting more DVD's and get a MP3 player.

I've only just started collecting myself, but my dad has been keeping up his collection for years. It's just so cool and useful nowadays.

really love collecting cds and dvds….when i was a kid my mom got me a spongebob and alice in wonderland dvds and i was so obsessed with!!! then they sold it and i was so sad but i collect cds now (i have stray kids album and stayc cd)

oh i looooove physical media. i myself collect vinyls, books, cassettes and cds! i got a discman for christmas and my mom gave me her walkman. what is your favorite way to consume music?
i lovvee vinyl. now that im older i definitely listen to full albums a lot easier than just playlists which makes me lovvee vinyl even more now

yesss i love cassettes!! my collection is a lil out of control 0_o i've been really into collecting old physical media such as magazines lately! i recently found a treasure trove of 90's horror mags in my usual record store and that was a nice departure from the norm

physical media my beloved!! I've started collecting but I'm not that deep into it yet. I also don't have very much money so that's a given but yeah... HATE streaming services. Why can't I have all movies in one place? so expensive for no reason. piracy is also my best friend idc
Miscellanity
Since I've seen shows/movies leave streaming services, I think I'm leaning toward collecting physical media. I guess besides old pictures which I've been finding from old devices and have yet to print, all I have is DVDs most of them are bootleg lol. My mom has CDs of Mexican singers.
i literally started collecting because i realized streaming services were not reliable in the slightest and i really fell in love with it. it does take up a lot of space...but so does any collection

ANYY thrift store is awesome for DVDs, thats where i got a lot of mine for super super cheap. Theres a lot of bundles on ebay too for show box sets and movies (also burning movies is great too but i love having the case and all the little things)
i just started getting back into vinyl, i really need a fiona apple one and more tool.

amazing for the panasonic! I'm deep into gaming, i have a passion for late 90s games and especially ps1 stuff (LOVE SPYRO)
i love the playstation, but i def have a lot more nostalgia for the xbox/xbox 360. I bought one a few years ago and it really is just as fun as i remember it being when i was little. i need to get more games for it now too.
i need a digicam along side the camcorder too!!

i had lollipop chainsaw, skyrim, and the bioshock games were the ones i played the most at least. i got my xbox 360 a few years ago because i wanted to replay lollipop chainsaw actually but its not on anything else and not backwards compatible!!
