rushed, messy, informal introductions...

hallo there. I am 1cipherchip, short name chip. nickname ren!

I don't talk to others often about my interests so I hope to use this blog to open myself up more. make more friends. try stuff I haven't done in a long time! so im sorry if these blogs come off as a bit chatty. i have a lot going on in my mind so its like. portion diary portion talking to all of you! my friends, or soon to be friends!! i do want to mention that i am very different to how these blogs bring me across as... in direct messages or group chats i may be a little short spoken (they do call me a man of few words). it definitely takes me a hot while to warm up, but i don't mean to do it personally! think of my first few messages as a dip in the pool to check the temperature, thats all.

to all friends, new and old, let this be a proper introduction, please allow it to rid of any incorrect perceptions of me. the old me is dead. the new year, new me is here!

A little piece about myself wont hurt, i suppose:

intp 5w6, aroace. self claimed 'chill guy who lowkey doesnt give a single damn'. i am very open minded to everything, but will not hesitate to drop the boot when i dont agree. please be nice! i take almost everything face value, so it would help if you're direct with me. i am cringe, but i am free, I may be cringe, but i am happy, and that is all that matters to me. i am also a part time artist. and i write. mostly poetry, but i do write. i have original characters... i want to write a book one day... heh... 

I mention GAMES in my general. I LOVE GAMES. if nobody got me i know games got me.

SPEAK TO ME ABOUT UNDERTALE) , the great ace attorney, the stanley parable, roblox, pokemon, fortnite, minecraft, guilty gear strive, persona 5 and persona 3, oneshot, splatoon 3, hollow knight, a dance of fire and ice, ultrakill, limbus company, elevator hitch, your only move is hustle, content warning, mouthwashing, library of ruina, detroit become human, helldivers 2, stardew valley, little big planet/AKA sackboy, geometry dash, taiko, arctic eggs, stray. Hope you see some familiar names! i love games.

NICOPATTY!!! i dont shut up about nicopatty's music, a mix of hip-hop/rap, dance/electronic and pop! his music is great, with his lobby music for his game being popular, be sure to check out his own songs though! im sure with his samples you'll begin to notice why hes such a favourite of mine.

IYOWA!!! (Not to be confused with the state, Iowa) a vocaloid producer that will have me in a grip for a long time to come. a mix of J-pop, electronic, indie rock and psychedelic pop. a unique and sharp style known for his uses of dissonance. I BEG OF YOU, check it out! his music comes off as very emotionally charged, and in a way messy. Like 'written on the spot with not much time and created with anything at hand' messy. a truly incredible artist, who even makes his own music videos too!

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD!!! an artist much more well known than the ones above, composed of alternative, indie rock. not much more to say beside I LOVEEEE the neighbourhood. been a huge fan since 2020. i know almost any song from them, i get really surprised if i dont recognise one. 

some others worth mentioning that arent my tops are: tyler the creator, puzzle, the garden, r-906, frog96, will wood (and the tapeworms), mili, dasu, john, yuu miyashita, jariah, my chemical romance, glass animals, MGMT, maretu, two door cinema club, childish gambino, steve lacy, hozier, x0o0x_, lonepi, sohbana, tally hall, temporex, vundabar, peach pit, eve, vacations, tv girl, the hoosiers. theres a few more but i must stop before this blog post becomes Just Music.

A box of random nonsense, i mentioned earlier messy, didnt i?

i loooovee computer science, math, puzzles, ARGs, poetry, cinnamoroll, planes, butterflies, soda, sweet treats and knowing random trivia. and the colour Blue.

sorry, this is rambling, but i want to expand on that last part:  I genuinely wish people would talk to me about any interests they have because i, ALMOST without a doubt, would love to hear about it. be it about a book, tv show, history, youtube video, obscure piece of media back in 1800, a song they came across, pieces of artefact or art they found in a museum. aaannyyythhiiinngggggg. I think there are usually two types of people, listeners and talkers, of course people will switch between the two when they see fit, but i have always found myself under the listener title. I love listening to people ramble. I love people talk about topics with all their heart. Please talk to me..... listening to people talk about their interests makes it easier to come talk to them again later.
