or authors who write like online fanfics surrounding characters in highschool (and sometimes even middle school)
like no jessica you can't just post a "karma x reader, assasination classroom, fluff/lemon, mdni!!" there is NO WAY you're expecting your audience of what you want to supposedly be all adults to be reading this piece of writing shipping themselves with middle school students like help me😭🙏
idk i'm not an adult so i can't speak on the whole psychology surrounding the obsession with highschool settings. ngl off topic but i wish there were more coming of age stories surrounding people like graduating, i haven't graduate myself yet but it'd still be nice to see and whatnot💔💔

the thing that's crazy though is that highschool is literally nothing to aspire to or like miss that bad. my current experience isn't terrible but i could never even IMAGINE reaching the peak of my life right now. goodness gracious NO.

Honestly real though I’m sick of those mfs and I’m sick of those highschool series/movies that act life is so “qUirKy” in highschool like no brother shit ain’t that good uuuuuuughhh
I’ll be honest if I read those romantic ass books I would probably rather read about meeting a person in unexpected places at unecpted time with bit drama on it yk like emotional yet very beautiful stories about two people becoming more and more close everyday with obstacles n experiences
Yk lokw off topic but I genuinely hate those booktok mfs with RAGE AND GAHH they lokw ruined books,like no Stemphanie,reading 200 pages of just pure fucking sex ain’t a “romance” atp I would go rather watch videos if I felt like it than reading a damn shitty book about it.And what is even worse they be combining sone illegal shit in it like grown ass oldie man x young woman LIKE BROTHER EWWWW GET YOUR ASS IN THE JAIL.

don't worry dude I love reading rants
but yeah I definitely understand the point of wanting to read something actually meaningful
never will I understand why highschool is so idealized, it makes absolutely no sense.
