Hello, Internet!

It's my first actual post in this website, believe it or not. And I'm sure if anyone would actually read it, but here goes nothing. Maybe deep down, the "internet kid" in me wanted to be a part of the old internet again, away from all the toxicity on other sites. Maybe I missed the feeling of anonymity and expressing yourself to the fullest (without being an asshole or a whole criminal, of course) and embracing the weird; maybe that's why I'm here. Call me corny, but I'm glad to be here. 

Anyways, onto the yapping. Don't you just hate it when your expectations far differ from reality? Or is this just part of growing up? When I was younger I've always dreamt of doing amazing things; Traveling the world, solving mysteries, going on shopping sprees in a montage and having amazing girl friends to confide in and a loving boyfriend. Well I'm grateful to announce that I have achieved some of those, and yet not quite everything. There's so many wants and so little time, but I still have to be grateful to have fulfilled my needs and the time I do have. It's just sad that the things I dreamt of are kind of out of reach; maybe that's part of life, too? Working hard to get what you want. I just hoped the bars wouldn't be this high. (Fuck you, capitalism!) Here's to achieving things we want in life! 🍷
