Vlogging + Blogging

I've always been super interested in the vlog style videos on YouTube and social media, and I love writing and have been wanting to start doing this stuff. However I struggle with peoples perceptions of me and so I've never really been able to make any form of social media content. I try to post semi regularly on Instagram and post occasionally on tiktok, but there's something about making long form content that has always interested me. I have an old camcorder that doesn't have the best video quality and I know some video editing from taking design classes and from when I used to run a fan edit account, so materials and skills aren't an issue. I genuinely wish I could just like start and do it but there is something holding me back. Any tips or suggestions? If not thank you for reading my rant lol :,(

Small edit: I also don't think that my life is really interesting enough to do this and there isn't very many alternative vloggers so I probably wouldn't do well.
