Pop Con 2025 (1st day on spacehey)

I would introduce myself but I'd rather talk about my new favorite convention, HAWAII POP CON. 

I went there yesterday and it was so much more awesome than I thought, I went with 2 of my amazing friends and it was a full on blast, my only other convention experience was comic con and a few other craft fairs if they count. Basically my first time going with my friends and not my parents (Only took me 17 years) 

Basically Pop Con is a pop culture convention that is mainly centered around TCG specifically pokemon, which is great for me because I LOVE pokemon. I recently began collecting again after a hiatus late last year and I went with my friend that has been collecting for quite a long time, she cosplayed as penny which was badass and I went as myself...

I only had a few things in mind, Not spend over 100$, get badass cards, and meet THE Deep Pocket Monster. 

My first goal failed absolutely miserably I think I spent over 200$ which is a lot for a teenager trying to save money BUT It was totally worth it I picked up amazing cards and shared awesome memories, although every pack I ripped was absolutely awful and I only had a few notable hits. BUT I did get 2 absolutely fine shyt cards. The SAR Ceruledge from Terastal Festival, and a Reverse Holo Mudkip #59 from EX Ruby & Sapphire aka My prized possession I couldn't be happier to own.

And the ABSOLUTE highlight of my entire time, I ACTUALLY got to meet Deep Pocket Monster, he was so totally nice and awesome and I even ripped some 151 with him, I got a picture and a signature and he was just really cool to be around. Other than that my time there was mostly spent nerding out with my friends, taking pictures and being super drained by the time we left :p BUT it was all totally worth it, if you're ever in Hawaii around New Years totally stick around and go there even if you're not a pokemon fan, there is a ton of other stuff and it's a great time I promise ;)
