Journal Entry #118: 01/12/25 - In the Cold Bitterness of January...

So...I'm back in my apartment and classes start tomorrow...

However, I'm going to try my best to recap what has happened. I went to the mall last weekend and got some shoes. Malls are a dying breed, so it was nice to return to one (although I went to it in November as well). It also snowed on Friday, which was quite a surprise, even if it was forecasted. It also lasted a while, to the point where I was worried if I was going to be able to go back to my apartment when I wanted to. It didn't snow where my university is, but now there's snow forecast next Monday! To be honest, I'm kinda tired of the cold already. When can it be spring? 

Speaking of spring, I'm hoping to add a bit more green to my wardrobe this year. The problem is that the green I want is so hard to find! It's the kind that catches your eye but isn't too bright. It's like a nice green meadow, I guess. I also wanna buy some DVDs! I'd really like to own the entire collection of The Big O, but I'd have to buy two sets, both of which are quite expensive. 

As for yesterday and today, yesterday I drove home and met with some family. I haven't been feeling well due to a cold and some other ailments, but it was nice to split my drive up, even if it was uneven. Thankfully my cold's been clearing up some. Both yesterday and today I've been tidying up my room. Today, I tried to walk my schedule with a friend, but due to it being the weekend, most buildings were closed. Hopefully, I can figure out where some of them are, as some of these buildings on campus are confusing, even as a sophomore!

For whatever reason, only three of my five courses have been posted. Hopefully, the rest will be posted tomorrow. I love to read syllabi lol. I only have 15 hours this semester, which should mean my workload should be lighter to some degree. Though I know for a fact some of my classes will be quite difficult! All of them are three credits though, which means I shouldn't have to put in more work for one unless I fall behind.

Anyway, I have an 8 am tomorrow so I should probably head to bed.
