Silver tinsel on a verdant tree  

A shining star for you and me 

Mistletoe holly and ivy 

A old wooden nativity

Sleepless night of anxious wonder 

Joyful triumphant morning of laughter 

Mountain of wrapping paper and bows 

 Brightest day in the year of lows 

The Blessed Christmas Star 

Shining hear near and far 

Carols in every ear 

Hope for the new year 

Gifts and kindness given free 

Glittering lights for all to see 

Many wonders to behold 

For both young and the old 

At the end of years hill we climb
