jack of all trades, master of none

sooo, this is my second entry and I just decided to hashtag fuck it we ball, let me yap. 

after listening to 'master of none' by the beach house (I also really recommend checking out 'apple orchard' from the same album), I was reading into the lyrics. english is my third language so, naturally, I had no idea who was jack and what was up with the trades. trade center reference? but after looking it up, I swear to god, I literally saw my reflection in that google search bro.

and I think that might be my demise. 

there's something the very core of my being despises. and it is stillness. 

life is beautiful because it is ever-flowing. war has taught me that there is life after death and that I do not wish to spend mine staying in one place. like, life is meant to be enjoyed, it is meant for you to try new things and discover more.

but I'm afraid I do overindulge in too much fucking around and not enough in finding out. like, I have a million hobbies but am I truly good in any of them? nah.

but another part of me truly doesn't care that much about being a master of a craft. because you can never be one, can you? (I'm doing it, are you?). no matter how many hours you spend on a project, your own critical eye will deter you from claiming that title. there's always a bigger fish somewhere out there, right? so just do whatever your heart desires and remember that comparison is the thief of joy.

anyway, my nail literally fell off 3 days after getting a fresh manicure so guess who's waiting for their nail-salon-starter kit. me, obviously. I mean, who else is writing this?

honestly, I can't wait to do my friends' nails all pRoFeSsIoNaL, I just want to do something for them to show my love and see them smile. ilovemyfriends
