For the past month I've been trying to save up some money to go the gym next to my college dorm. I've been selling books and saving up on my student grants (around €200).
I went to the gym for the first time in '22, but i disliked the way things there were done : too cramped and the most people were old people. So i really felt like i was not in a good place, though I'll admit it was cheap unlike some franchised groups. Some health and mental issues made me stop going to the gym since.
I don't really know what I'm going to do there, as in what type of exercises I'll do, but my goal is clear : losing weight !
I've lost a ton of weight in 2020, due to the pandemic and to the diet my mom imposed on me and my dad. Five years later, I've regained almost all of that weight + some weight due to overeating. I'm usually eating at the university cafeteria most of the time. Though it's quite healthy as it has good veggies and a good choice in protein, i feel like they put too much carbs. I just ask to put a little less rice/pasta/other than the other guys before me.
