Armored Core VI review

Was thinking about what to use my blog for and I landed on game reviews, might do other stuff but for now just this.

I beat AC6 the other night and this is for sure the best mech game I've ever played, better than Titanfall 2, the lore is so good and I just want to play the other games now as well as replaying 6, the armored cores are all so cool and I just love the customization, some people think the game isn't skill based and you have to use the meta builds to win but I disagree, I experimented until almost the end of the game to make my build which as far as I'm aware isn't meta and is super fun either way. The fcs system makes the game less about aiming but it also makes gave the devs the freedom to make the combat insanely fast paced because you're mostly concerned about positioning, movement, and dodging. I don't think I disliked a single boss which is amazing, from soft never disappoints but there is always one or two bosses I just don't like and that isn't the case for Armored Core VI. The story is mostly told through voice messages, comms, and downed AC logs with some cutscenes along the way, but either way, all the characters are so good, I love Rusty, and G1 Michigan, Walter is super cool and all the other characters are good in their own way, and I loved the ice worm mission because it was the one time all the corporations stopped fighting just to take down the relic as a group. I only played one playthrough so far, but i know there were missions I didn't do and I think another ending I can do, I loved the fight with ayre at the end of my playthrough but I'm excited to see what else is in store. I wasn't a huge fan of the mission style but it works and idk how else they could have done it, and it was kind of hard to get into at the start with the limited AC parts, for me at least I had a hard time building an AC that worked for me.
