so, i've been listening to a lot of oldschool rave music lately

trance, dnb, techno, acid, and house namely

and i wanted to share some tracks i've been loving as of late

starting with trance!

ok so, i've loved nuphory's work for a LONG time, and this is one of my favorite tracks from her...

this track did make her more popular, but, it's still really good and u should listen to it

i saw this track recommended to me on youtube one day,

and like the weeb i am, i clicked on the video MOSTLY because of the thumbnail

but i was introduced to a really cute trance tune because of that decision

so liikeee.....

if u don't know,

ekowraith is one of porter robinson's EARLIEST music projects

from like, before he was 18...

and THIS (awesome person) GOT TO COLLAB WITH HIM,

BEFORE HE MADE IT MASSIVE!!! wtfff???

i found this song from this animation by sira0xff,

and i IMMEDIATELY fell in love with it,

i just HAD to look up the full song...

and i've been vibing to it ever since

romanceplanet is someone i found out about last year,

and since then i've been seeing them on my instagram feed a lot

so i get really excited when they release new music

this track is so good...

okay.... to be honestly, i really fuckin love nightcore,

ESPECIALLY when it's done right,

and it's not just someone speeding up the track's tempo and raising the pitch

it adds so much more when they actually remix the track to be more trancey

and, this is a really good remix

and heres some dnb... this is more on the darker side of dnb ;3

i only really discovered current value like, 2 months ago,

and since then they've become of my FAVORITE dnb and crossbreed producers

and this song, with that dreamy vocaloid, and the quiet breaks in the intro...

i could listen to this forever and feel like i'm in heaven

i first heard this song in this game called midnight club 3

(for the ps2)

which has a LOT of tracks from the moving shadow label

and this was always one of my favs...

i just love that ambient intro, and then...

the sudden drop into those MASSIVE breaks

it's so euphoric for me <3

we have another current value track!

i think this was actually the second current value track i ever heard

and yet again i just love the vocals this guy uses, and how the tracks are mixed

it feels like water to me, if that makes sense..

this is a noisia track from the moving shadow label,

i simply can't get enough of the mc on this track

also, noisia tracks are just really good in general??

i love all of their music, they're amazing producers

a friend showed me this song recently, and i can NOT get enough of it

that piano riff is just beautiful...

can you tell i really like this loud, abrasive form of dnb yet? ;)

and speaking of loud...

it's also just such a fun track to dance to

this track is kinda repetitive

(i mean, it *is* house...)

but i simply can't help but sing along to

Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You

now, i've always been a fan of daft punk,

and this track has one of the members (thomas bangalter)

along with a few other awesome producers

and they made this track, and fucked right off

which i think the group's name is a reference to tbh..

Basement Jaxx - Where's Your Head At?

this is kind of pushing on the border of what constitutes as "house",

but this is kind of the only place i can put this lol

this music video is REALLY really interesting,

and the monkeys singing the line

"we can't live on, live on without you"

to the guy, is verrry eerie, in a fun way.

it kinda makes me think a little introspectively about, a lot of things...

there's a lot of uncomfortable things that live on,

because we keep feeding them our minds..
