2024

i'm nearly two weeks late but i hadn't been able to get the opportunity to sit and type this all out. but its 2025. its been 2025. but this time one month ago, it was still the year that changed my life. 

i finally started looking and applying for jobs, i finally got to quit dance and continue pursuing my passion and enhancing my skill in music, dated a guy for about two months and ended up going my longest time without a relationship since the start of highschool, went to my first highschool parties, smoked pot for the first time, got to cut my hair, had to finally come out to my parents, took a trip to europe, dyed my friends hair in the middle of school, participated in my first music gigs, got my first detention, gained a love for nic and cigarettes, ended up forming many new friendships, as well as finally started going out with a really, really good guy.

it doesn't seem like a lot but for me, 2024 has to be one of if not the biggest year of my life. it was probably the year where everything rlly became real for me. if it weren't that year, i feel like i'd still be a kid. i went through a lot of things this year. made some really sucky and stupid ass decisions that i could've lived without, but i also had a lot of fun. and it made me feel alive. 

i experienced a lot of good and bad things last year, so i think i will forever have a love hate relationship with 2024, but all i want for 2025 is for it to be kinder to me, and for myself to know better. i hope to continue to grow in 2025. and i hope all my loved ones are there with me.
